SCAPPOOSE, Ore. A fiery explosion destroyed a boat and a boat house at a marina near Scappoose Monday, authorities said. The building was located at McCudy’s Landing Marina. Crews received a call just before 11 a.m. reporting an explosion in the area, which is loaded with fuel.

FISHING REPORT 
Hume Lake The lake is drained and frozen over. Last week, somebody reported catching a couple of trout, but it snowed most of Thursday and no fishing is expected over the weekend.
