The very best vacations that my family and I have ever experienced has been houseboating. We’ve rented several different types (and the ones with two bathrooms definitley comes in handy if you have a large family), but the best part about the vacation is the wonderful time you’ll spend with your family. Being out on the beautiful water (we’ve always gone to Lake Shasta in Northern California), cooking together, boating, water-skiing, or just jumping overboard and swimming anytime you want, has been absolutely great.
